Goken: ...Yeah, DDD sucks ass. One of the few good things in the game are some songs in the OST. Easily the weakest OST in the series otherwise, the most baffling story, and the bullshitiest bosses. This is the lowpoint of the series for me. Days is at least ambitious and has Mission Mode, BbS may also have the same issues as DDD but the bosses arent nearly as awful in the main story, and Re:coded is at least fun

Imo,I think the BBS and DDD OSTs are better to listen to on their own, but the KH1 and KH2 OSTs are better suited during gameplay.

Jacob Allen: When I first fought YX, I was kinda curious why the final boss was so easy. He didn't really do much and just kinda tried to hit you with his weird time-themed shotlock crap. Then time stopped, and I broke the clock. See, time travelers don't like it when you break their clocks, how are they gonna know if they're in the right place? So, still thinking it was easy I tried to just beat the clock up. I died seconds after to the Mysterious Figure moveset he pulls out his ass. "There's the difficulty!"

It's tense, it's hectic, the piano chello and organ give it a feeling of lament, the violin cuts in putting the whole ambiance in stasis. It's simply mesmerizing.

What confirms it for you is the stupid clock phase where the game just outright confirms to you who this fucker is through his moves.

Not sure tho, but if so it only took me three or four tries cause his time stop and slow projectiles are what can really screw you over. His most damaging move is also when his keyblade splits into all those parts with the corners. Yeah having good dream eaters helped, but I had ones that only damaged. I also only had one curagra and didn't know I could equip more than one lol, or I just think one heal command and heal item commands are just my preferred method of battle. Sry if this was lengthy, but to this day I still hate his bullets that put into a slow state and his time stop into his second phase.

Xemnas on KH2 was over the top as hell, but guard made him easy lmao Xehanort on KHBBS was also pretty much not a pushover since he is kinda slow but still has heavy attacks However, Young Xehanort on KHBBS AND 3D is such a pain in the ass, everyone calls him difficult to deal with, which answers the question of how he became Keyblade Master.

Ultrapyre: I see that change from player to player. While I haven't played this game (and I certainly don't plan to with the prospect of fighting that tornado of sharp objects), I would hazard a guess that the clock you have to attack whenever YX runs out of health determines his max HP, which he regains depending on how much you knocked down. In essence, deplete his max health to 0 by attacking the clock, and you win. Certainly fits with the whole 'time manipulation' theme YX has going, and it definitely seems equal parts majestic and aggravating.

The Keyblade of Ansem Seeker of Darkness was a Keyblade that opens Darkness in hearts, Ventus was wind based, Aqua’s was more like a wand, Sora’s was a Keyblade of light and much like hearts Heartless are drawn to it (essentially Kingdom Key is built specially to combat darkness) Xehanort’s Keyblade centers itself around time.

Production Journal: I remember as I was approaching the final battle I was experimenting with different abilities to level up etc, then I got to this battle and realized it was one of the final boss fights. I had level 1 abilities and stats and horrible dream eaters (because I wanted to level them up), with all things considered, this was an interesting battle to fight at (practically) level 1

Kind of how Xemnas technically should be able to use MX's Keyblade, but instead uses Ethereal Blades. We never find out exactly why he doesn't use MX's Keyblade, but people speculate that its because Terra-Xehanort lost his memory after arriving in Radiant Garden after the X-Blade was destroyed. He sort of forgot how to summon his Keyblade, in a sense.

The lack of background music, along with the ticking of the clock and Xehanort running at you, trying to fuck you up, made me feel fear, panic and a sense of urgency, almost as though someone was running up to kill me in the silence of the night irl. Good decision to remove the bgm by Square Enix there.

LinReu: Again, the 1:05 made it quite obvious but they're still different fights all together with him possessing completely different fighting styles. His dual dagger/swords/whatever in BBS and his Chrono-Key (has no name as of this moment as far as I'm aware but I'm calling it that because of it's time-travelling properties, thanks Nomura) and his BBS fight is usually known to be one of the most difficult fights in the entire series, depending on who you're asking.
