60. The One Pump Panda: Deadline Pokemon is one of the biggest franchises on the planet, sure. But not only is this song completely differently from the rest in tone, quality, and style, it almost sounds too good for the franchise. You could make a counter argument with Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness, but aside from the console spinoffs you wouldn’t really have a case. This track just sounds too good.

Maromania: +Gan Ceann She shows up to your house, wrecks your best friend and robs a cripple, runs around the region with a constant "I'm right and everyone else is wrong, but I'm not going to explain myself and just insult everyone instead' attitude. Her reasoning once dragged out of her was incredibly flawed but you don't really get the choice to disagree with her, and when you finally get a real fight it was just a test and she wanted you to beat her. as a character she would normally just be an arrogant asshole and that would be it... but I was a friendless kid who moved from the north to the south, and was too poor for a console. I followed the show from the beginning and scroundged up cards to collect and such, but I never got to play until my whole extended family scrounged up enough for a GBA and 1 game on christmas. Sapphire. I broke the clock before Leaf Green came out, and with that and ruby later on, I had over 2000 hours on these games just in a couple years. They're a defining moment to me. So to see this amazing remaster, in this glorious haze of joy...just to have it burst by an endgame addition showing up and being an unreasonable asshole got under my skin. I'm not usually a nostalgic guy, but this game is almost sacred to me. so her addition just set something in me ablaze like nothing else ever could. I'm aware my hatred of her is irrational, but I can't shake it.
